Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 27, 2026

This policy explains what CalcSlate collects, what it does not, and who else receives data when you visit. It applies to https://calcslate.com and every calculator on it.

The short version

Your calculator inputs never leave your browser. Every calculation on this site runs in JavaScript on your own device. The numbers you type — your salary, your loan balance, your business costs — are not transmitted to us, not logged, and not stored anywhere. Close the tab and they are gone.

We do not ask for your name or email, we have no accounts, and we operate no login system.

What is collected automatically

Like most websites, we use analytics and advertising services that collect limited technical information when you visit:

This is aggregate traffic data. It tells us which calculators people use and where they get stuck. It does not identify you personally, and we do not attempt to link it to you.

Cookies and advertising

We use Google Analytics to understand traffic patterns, and Google AdSense and other third-party advertising vendors to display ads. These services set cookies on your device.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of third-party vendor cookies more broadly at aboutads.info or the NAI opt-out page. Blocking cookies in your browser also works, and this site functions normally without them.

If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland

You will see a consent banner on your first visit asking whether personalised advertising and analytics cookies may be used. Nothing non-essential is set before you answer, and you can change your choice at any time through the link in that banner. Declining does not restrict any calculator on the site.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you, and to object to its processing. Because we do not operate accounts or store personal records, we normally hold nothing to retrieve. Requests concerning data held by our analytics and advertising providers are best directed to those providers, whose policies are linked below.

California residents have specific rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information as that term is commonly understood; advertising cookies may nonetheless constitute “sharing” under California law, and the opt-out links above apply.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
