The calculators are estimates

Every tool on this site produces an estimate. The formulas are standard and we test them, but results depend entirely on the figures you enter and on assumptions that may not fit your situation.

Nothing here is financial, tax, legal, engineering, or professional advice, and using a calculator does not create a professional relationship of any kind. Rates, fees, tax thresholds, and building codes change — often annually, sometimes mid-year — and a page may not yet reflect the latest revision.
